If you have a prescription for erectile dysfunction, your doctor can prescribe an appropriate drug. But not everyone has access to a drug that is safe and effective.

Here's a rundown on where you can find your most current ED medications.

What Are Drugs Used For?

In the United States, Viagra is most commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction and may even be prescribed for other conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or prostate problems.

But you may not be aware of how Viagra works and how it's used, so be sure to talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting any new medication.

How Do Viagra & Cialis Work?

Viagra and Cialis work by increasing blood flow to the penis. When these medications are combined, the blood vessels in the penis become wider, so the penis is able to produce more blood.

Viagra and Cialis belong to different classes of erectile dysfunction drugs, and each has its own effects on blood vessels, so the penis doesn’t get the full effect of its active ingredient.

Viagra and Cialis work by helping to relax the blood vessels in the penis so blood can flow into the penis.

The UK government is warning men that their sexual performance is affected after they become aware of erectile dysfunction (ED).

A new warning has emerged since the first case of erectile dysfunction in a man diagnosed in June 2018.

The health service said the following to the public on 6 June 2018:

  • The health service said: “The NHS has now started to recognise and remove all cases of ED from the male population and is working with all affected men to get more evidence before they can be sent for treatment.”

  • The health service said: “The NHS is now working with the Department of Health and Social Care to stop the spread of STDs and other sexual health disorders from happening.

In its advice letter to the media, the health service said:

“Sexual health problems in men should be treated as they occur, and we will continue to investigate to ensure any affected individuals get the best treatment possible.”

The letter was published on 6 June 2018. It found there was “no substantial evidence to support” that taking or using any other prescription drugs is associated with an increased risk of ED.

The letter was also found to include information about “the risk of sexual health problems”, such as impotence.

The letter said:

“There is no evidence that Viagra or similar drugs can increase the risk of erectile dysfunction, or that they are associated with a high risk of such problems.

“However, Viagra can increase the risk of erectile dysfunction by about 5 per cent to 10 per cent.”

The letter further added that:

“Although Viagra is not known to have the same sexual benefits as other similar erectile dysfunction medicines, the effects are similar and include less risk of side effects, no significant adverse reactions, and fewer side effects than other similar medicines.

“Viagra should only be used under the supervision of a specialist.”

There has been some media speculation of whether or not the UK government will take action against the makers of the sex drug Cialis after it has been revealed the company behind the drug, Lilly ICOS LLC, had engaged in a scheme to sell erectile dysfunction drugs.

However, a spokesman for the company, Lilly ICOS LLC, said:

“The company has no plans to disclose to the public how it has engaged in this scheme.”

The spokesman for the company, Lilly ICOS LLC, said:

“Our commitment to the health of the public and the NHS has been recognised by the government and we continue to work with the Department of Health and Social Care to stop this spread of sexual health disorder from happening and the NHS must now recognise and remove all cases of erectile dysfunction from the male population.

“The government will continue to work with the Department of Health and Social Care to stop the spread of sexual health disorder and the NHS must now recognise and remove all cases of erectile dysfunction from the male population.

“These are serious problems and we need to ensure that we do something to help the men who suffer from these problems and to get their confidence back back.”

The health service said the latest warning was “well on the way”. It added that:

“The information is being updated as a precautionary measure. We are in the process of updating our warning to reflect the most up-to-date information available.”

The health service said:

“As with all advice and information on sexual health, it is important that men who suffer from erectile dysfunction seek professional help immediately.”

The latest warning was “well on the way”.

“Men who suffer from erectile dysfunction should consult their GP and seek medical advice immediately if they have persistent or recurring symptoms.”

The latest warning was ‘well on the way’. It added:

“In all cases, this warning is a reasonable precaution to take, as it is recommended that further investigation is carried out.

“It is also important that men who suffer from erectile dysfunction seek medical advice immediately if they have persistent or recurring symptoms or if the symptoms do not improve after a medical consultation.
